Natural Climate Solutions (NCS) are confirmed to be “one-third of the cost-effective climate mitigation needed between now and 2030 to stabilize warming to below 2°C” [2]. Other measures are related to the fast reduction of GHG emissions, decreasing fossil fuel use and increasing effective use of natural resources.
