New Energy Heavy-Duty Truck Industry Development Status Report

This two-year research project aims to systematically answer the core question concerning the future development of China's new energy heavy-duty truck industry: Against the backdrop of national energy restructuring, transformation of the transportation industry, and logistics system upgrades, how will China's road freight sector evolve, along which energy pathways will new energy heavy-duty trucks achieve large-scale development, and which market forces will ultimately drive their deployment? To this end, the project builds a comprehensive analytical framework covering four dimensions—macro factors, scenario requirements, technology pathways, and OEM/supply chain dynamics—to identify the drivers, constraints, and future direction of the industry.
